The Ou River, known as the "Mother River" flowing through southern Zhejiang, not only nourishes the land but also fosters the pioneering spirit of the private economy, bearing profound marks of China's reform and opening-up journey. The "Ou River Basin" takes this geographical expanse as its thread, connecting a group of artists born or raised here, spanning generations from the post-70s to the generation Z, who are active in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and even Europe. Just as Wenzhou holds a unique position in China's economic landscape, these artists are also vital participants and creators in the ecology of contemporary Chinese art.

The exhibition regards the Ou River basin as a cultural imagery deeply embedded in the artists' creations, tracing the intricate roots of their work intertwined with regional culture, bloodline heritage, historical narratives, and personal experiences. It also presents the Ou River as a cultural cross-section, examining the practice of "homeland" as a method in the history of contemporary Chinese art—interrogating the enduring reverberations of regional experiences within the contemporary context amid the multifaceted tensions of homeland versus distant lands, memory versus amnesia, departure versus return.

Jin Han explores“ether”across cosmology, philosophy, and science, transforming these perspectives into emotional reflections through diverse painting practices and multicultural residencies.

“Vortex”refers to the form of a typhoon, created by the invisible force of the “magnetic field'. This natural phenomenon represents a balance and a contest, and the act of spinning is always fascinating.

“Crystal Nebula No.1”,the crystals are arranged from a microscopic perspective into the macroscopic cyclone of Jupiter, the visual scale visible to the naked eye is smoothed in the image, and imagination transcends reality at this moment.
