Artist's statement

“Maintaining a certain distance is the scale of my relationship with my daily surroundings, and the sense of alienation is often charming. Archaeologists dig through soil and explore objects, astronomers gaze into the Milky Way from afar, and historians trace the origins of history. This process of searching for "red hearts" on online walls is more immersive than the hearts themselves. The process of tracing often needs to be based on different disciplines, and viewing astronomy, geography, archaeology, anthropology, semiotics, and so on from the perspective of painting is the starting point for constructing my own works. In geography, humans seem to be the staff makers in human geography, but who are the staff makers in natural geography? Perhaps time is the end and beginning of everything. The content that appears in my works is also my symbolic representation of 'time'.”
